Students learn the fundamentals of celestial navigation, the science of using our relative position to planetary bodies to derive our own position on the surface of the earth. Students are taught a simple theorectical approach to navigation and then learn the use of the sextant and how to perform the necessary calculations.

Dates
The next class starts on Wednesday, May 19th from 6:30 to 9:00pm. This introductory class will be followed by two consecutive wednesday night classes at which point a weekend day will be selected for taking sights with the sextant. Register by emailing us at this website.
