CLASSIC SMALL BOATS ON THE BAY

Class Description:

Students learn rope splicing, oar making, and the many small skills that go along with operating a small traditional sailboat and rowing boat. The class gathers each Friday at 1pm at the boatshop where we will either do rigging work for one of the Arques boats, or take one or more of these small boats out on Richardson Bay.

Number of students

This class is limited to 5 participants with some boating experience. Students must be 18 years or older to join this class. You can join the class by emailing the school at this site. Please give your background and history with boats. Space is limited so please advise if you want to be put on a waiting list.

Tuition:

$50 per month, payable in advance, each month.

Tool needs

Students will need tools for rope and wire splicing which can be made or purchased.
