CLASSIC SMALL BOATS ON THE BAY
Class Description:
Students learn to sail and navigate small traditional wooden boats, most of them built by the Arques School. This class meets every other Friday at the School at 9am for orientation. We then set sail for the day, with stops either at Angel Island, Tiburon, or Aquatic Park, depending on our day's course. In all cases, we will try to get back to the dock by 5pm when possible, though at the mercy of the wind. W
Number of students
This class is limited to 5 participants with some boating experience. Students must be 18 years or older to join this class. The first class will be on Friday, May 28, 2010. You can apply by emailing the school at this site. Please include a paragraph about your background and history with boating. Space is limited so please advise if you want to be put on a waiting list.
Tuition:
$25 per day, payable in advance.
