Eleanor is completely traditional: No plywood, only high end sawn lumber. Though just 21ft long, Eleanor is capable of long distance ocean sailing. She is heavily built with sawn and steam bent frames and planked with a mix of hardwood and softwood for long life. Eleanor is being rigged as a traditional gaff sloop. Her small cabin will be finished out according to the needs of the buyer.
The Arques School’s traditional sailboat design Eleanor is now for sale at $118,000 finished.
